## Your mission

* Lead and develop a group of __up to 10 software engineers,__ both __professionally and disciplinarily__
* Lead the __replatforming__ of our medimops webshop __to Shopify,__ ensuring maintainability and extendability of all customizations
* Contribute hands-on to the __design and implementation of the new platform__, with focus on performance, resilience, and great user experience
* Lead towards a new era of our medimops shop in __close collaboration__ with product teams, tech leads, and POs — ensuring alignment across cross-functional teams
* Drive the __technical vision and strategy__ together with other tech leads
* Foster a culture of __ownership, collaboration, and self-organization__ within and across teams
* Continuously improve our __CI/CD pipelines__ and __development processes__

## Your profile

* Hands-on experience with the __Shopify Plus ecosystem__, including:

* __Liquid__ templating and __Remix__ app development,
* Building and integrating __custom Shopify apps__ and webhooks,
* Resilient consumption, error handling, and monitoring of external integrations

* Solid knowledge of frontend technologies like __React, Remix,__ and __Typescript__

* Proven __leadership experience__ with engineering teams in agile environments, including disciplinary responsibility

* Experience in building and maintaining __large-scale, high-traffic platforms__ with strong uptime requirements
* Enthusiasm for building reliable, scalable systems that combine strong engineering with great user experience
* Strong communication and business fluent English language skills (German is a plus)

##  Nice to have

* Familiarity with end-to-end testing using frameworks like Playwright
* Understanding of modern frontend performance, observability, and monitoring best practices
* Experience with Typescript, Python, and MySQL or PostgreSQL
* Knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
* Experience applying Domain-Driven Design (DDD) and Clean Architecture principles to keep complex systems maintainable
