Execution Lead (Product Shipping & Delivery) in Startup

Employee
Other
EUR 30’000 to EUR 50’000 / year

Ensure that products, features, and initiatives ship — even when the founder is busy.

Your job is to make sure nothing stays blocked because “we needed input”, “we needed support”, or “we were waiting”.

One-sentence mandate

Nothing stays unshipped because the founder was busy.

What success looks like

  • Things ship every week
  • Blockers are visible, owned, and resolved
  • No initiative quietly dies
  • Momentum is constant
  • The company moves forward even without the founder’s daily involvement

Tasks

Responsibilities

  • Own all shipping initiatives end-to-end
  • Track what is blocked, why, and by whom
  • Unblock execution:
  • chase decisions
  • prepare options
  • escalate when needed
  • make pragmatic calls
  • Break work into small, shippable slices
  • Push teams to finish, not perfect
  • Own early distribution & traction initiatives:
  • launches
  • onboarding
  • early users
  • visibility experiments
  • Lead by doing, not by talking

What this role is not

  • Not a strategist
  • Not a framework designer
  • Not a meeting organizer
  • Not an analyst writing decks
  • Not someone who waits for perfect input

If you need a week of analysis or a 2-hour meeting to explain a vision, this role is not for you.

Requirements

Profile we are looking for

  • Strong bias to action
  • Comfortable pushing people (including the founder)
  • Startup-hardened generalist
  • Technically literate (doesn’t need to code, but understands delivery)
  • Feels personal responsibility for outcomes
  • Gets energy from finishing things

Non-negotiables

  • If you’re blocked for more than 24–48h, you escalate
  • You don’t disappear when waiting for input
  • You optimize for shipping, not elegance
  • You interrupt the founder when shipping is at risk
