Liquid Reply is the trusted partner for **Cloud Agnostic** solutions, **Kubernetes** Platform Engineering & **Cloud Native Development.** With our approaches, we design environments and migrate complex and fast-moving applications. **Platform Engineering** is the foundation and mindset which we bring to our clients to go with them the whole cloud native transformation journey.

## Tasks

*   Responsible for **architecture, design and implementation of Kubernetes** environments based on Bare Metal or **IaaS platforms** (GCP, Azure, AWS, VMware, OpenStack)  
*   Management and execution of migrations from/to **containerized environments** and design of high available **multi-cloud container orchestration** environments  
*   **Implementation and automation of CI/CD pipelines** as well as the automated deployment of environments using **Infrastructure as Code (IaC)** 
*   System and container hardening and implementation of further **cloud native security** tools  
*   Setup and transition of **monitoring, logging and tracing systems**  
*   Creation of **relevant content** for customers and interested parties about your own field of activity (e.g. professional articles, blog posts, conference presentations)  
*   Discussion of advanced topics such as **multi-cloud**, **edge cloud**, cloud native application migration, serverless or microservice architecture

## Requirements

*   Successfully completed **university studies** in (business) computer science, (business) mathematics, physics or similar  
*   Proven **Kubernetes expert** (CKA/CKAD certification is a plus)  
*   Very good knowledge of **distributed systems, storage**, backup & recovery, scaling and performance optimization  
*   Understanding of **agile methods and the SRE** philosophy; detailed knowledge of the automation of **CI/CD pipelines**  
*   Extensive practical experience with **observability tools** and their use in production  
*   Concepts, tools or frameworks such as **OpenShift**, Mesos, Nomad, Microservices, Cloud Native Architectures, **Self-Contained Systems**, are part of your daily bread and butter business  
*   Very good **communication skills** in English and German, willingness to travel
