We're looking for clear, articulate English speakers to record spoken narrations over existing first-person footage — describing what the person filming is doing, seeing, and interacting with as it happens.
Candidates must be available for a minimum of 5 hours per week. Work may exceed this minimum based on project needs, and there is no maximum hour cap unless explicitly communicated in advance.
Estimated project duration of approximately 1 month.
Tasks
What you'll be doing
- Watch first-person video clips and record a spoken narration describing the actions, objects, and surroundings visible on screen, following a provided style guide
- Narrate in clear, natural, understandable English, keeping pace with what's happening on screen
- Maintain consistency in narration style, level of detail, and terminology across clips
- Review your own recordings for clarity and audio quality before submission
- Stay up to date and follow updated guidelines as the narration rubric evolves
Requirements
You're a strong candidate if you:
- Speak English clearly and are easily understandable — native or non-native speakers welcome
- Have a quiet recording environment and a decent microphone (headset mic is sufficient)
- Are comfortable speaking on the fly while watching video, and can describe actions and scenes fluently and specifically
- Can follow detailed instructions and a style guide consistently across many clips
- Have a reliable internet connection and are available for at least 5 hours/week
- Pay close attention to detail and take feedback well to improve consistency over time
Benefits
- Fully remote and flexible — work from anywhere
- Part-time contractor role, choose your own hours
Send us your CV along with a brief note about yourself, including your recording setup and capabilities (microphone, recording environment, etc). If you've done similar work before — narration, voice-over, transcription, or anything adjacent — we'd love to hear specific
We look forward to hearing from you!
