## Tasks

**🚀 You will:**

*   Own and further develop our underwriting and student scoring model for evaluating student applicants, including identifying gaps and areas of improvement
*   Build systems or models to analyse and interpret data to assess the creditworthiness and risk profile of students
*   Incorporate external market factors and data into the underwriting model to ensure accurate risk assessment
*   Leverage advanced analytics and machine learning techniques in underwriting
*   Lead the data collection efforts to ensure informed data-based decision-making

## Requirements

**💪 You have:**

*   A Master’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., finance, economics, mathematics, data science)
*   A minimum of 3 years of experience in underwriting or an adjacent field, preferably in an insurance, financial or lending institution
*   A strong proficiency in data analysis and modelling, with expertise in using statistical software and programming languages such as Python
*   A solid understanding of credit risk assessment principles and methodologies
*   The ability to interpret complex financial data and make sound underwriting decisions
*   Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail
*   A self-motivated and proactive mindset, with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
