We want to make the leap from simple and practical reporting to a scalable data and business intelligence setup to ensure that we can grow rapidly AND sustainably based on well-informed, data-driven decisions! For this, we are looking for you, an entrepreneurial character that combines a passion for people enablement, distinct technical knowledge of the modern data tech stack, and experience with implementing scalable business intelligence setups in a rapidly growing company.

Leapsome is the __all-in-one platform for people enablement and engagement__. We combine tools for goals & OKR management, performance reviews and 360s, employee engagement surveys, continuous feedback, as well as team and 1:1 meetings into an easy-to-use, customizable platform.

## What is your job?

* You create and own our business intelligence strategy and derive data tool stack recommendations to build a scalable and cloud-based data architecture in an iterative way.
* You ensure that the team has strong and transparent interfaces towards all business functions and the product and engineering team to clearly align and prioritize how and when to deliver on requirements (i.e. “what” data needs to be extracted from the product and actively work on the “how”).
* You drive the implementation of data tools and overarching architecture that is future-oriented, resilient, and can sustainably scale with the business of multiple years.
* You steadily grow and lead a team of analysts and data engineers to support the maturing business and the increasing need for insights from internal and external stakeholders.
* You are not afraid of getting your hands dirty, and you create and improve key reportings yourself and enable the business by developing an auditable body of KPIs and a self-service reporting solutions.

## Who are we looking for?

* You have 5+ years of experience with building scalable data architectures or infrastructures and teams around them, preferably in fast-growing B2B SaaS companies.
* You successfully hired and lead larger teams, can identify yourself as a player-coach role in a growing team, and show the cognitive flexibility to tackle strategic as well as operational data topics.
* You embrace an entrepreneurial spirit with an affinity for numbers with a focus on generating impact fast and scaling a business fast and sustainably.
* You have a track record of successfully managing and successfully completing cross-functional projects focusing on business user-centricity.
* You are familiar with the modern data tool stack to extract, store, transform, and visualize data (Google Analytics, Mixpanel, Fivetran, Airbite, Big Query, Redshift, DBT, Looker, Metabase, ... - you name it).
* You have high proficiency in SQL and know your way around Python.
* You have strong written and verbal communication skills in English, German is a plus.
