Report Reviewer (Environmental Audit & Verification)

We are seeking a Report Reviewer (Environment) to join our Quality Team. In this role, you will review environmental assessment, verification, and audit reports to ensure accuracy, consistency, completeness, and compliance with applicable methodologies and quality standards. Working closely with auditors, verifiers, and internal stakeholders, you will help maintain high-quality reporting and support the continuous improvement of our quality assurance processes. This role is essential to ensuring the integrity and reliability of our services while supporting sustainable and responsible business practices across global supply chains.

Who we are:

Leadership and Sustainability is a sustainability service provider. We support clients worldwide on a wide range of projects. We work in the apparel, footwear, and textile industries and are headquartered in Würzburg, Bavaria, Germany.

• Review Environmental Audit reports for accuracy, completeness, consistency, and quality.
• Verify compliance with client requirements, audit protocols, and applicable environmental standards (e.g., Higg FEM, ZDHC, ISO 14001, CASCALE).
• Validate audit findings, supporting evidence, calculations, and Corrective Action Plans (CAPs).
• Ensure reports comply with internal quality standards, SOPs, and agreed turnaround times (TAT).
• Coordinate with Environmental Auditors to resolve report discrepancies and improve report quality.
• Provide technical feedback and support continuous quality improvement initiatives.
• Participate in technical reviews, calibration sessions, and internal training programs.
• Support the implementation of new environmental standards, reporting requirements, and best practices.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Audit Operations Manager.

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Sustainability, Engineering, Earth Science, Life Science, or any other relevant field.
• Minimum 2 years of professional experience in environmental auditing, report review, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience with the Higg FEM assessment program.
• Experience in the Textile, Apparel, and Footwear industry is required.
• Strong knowledge of environmental management systems, environmental audit methodologies, and sustainability reporting requirements.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and report review skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Good command of written and spoken English.
• Ability to work independently while maintaining accuracy, confidentiality, and high-quality standards.
