Location: London *( Hybrid)

6months+ Contract with possible extension

Role Overview: Seeking an experienced AWS Application Developer with expertise in serverless and event-driven architectures to build scalable cloud-native applications and support modernization initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Develop cloud-native applications using AWS serverless services
• Build event-driven and streaming data pipelines
• Modernize legacy applications to microservices and API-first architecture
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code (CDK/CloudFormation)
• Ensure monitoring, logging, and system reliability (CloudWatch)

Key Skills

AWS Lambda, API Gateway, EventBridge, Kinesis Data Streams

• DynamoDB, S3, Step Functions
• TypeScript & Node.js (mandatory), Python (good to have)
• Serverless & Event-driven architecture

Experience & Qualifications

• Strong AWS application development experience
• Experience with microservices & cloud-native architecture
• Knowledge of REST APIs & distributed systems
• AWS Certified Developer (preferred)
