We want to make it easy to run your own business when being self-employed and offer tailored solutions that address the pressing and unique problems freelancers face.

First we created a smart mobile bank account with superpowers to help with finances, taxes and savings. Now, we also offer a tax service for the self-employed to really take care of all of their needs.

## Your Mission:

In your role as Head of PR / Communications you will be responsible for the development and execution of the external communications of Kontist. You will be working closely with our CEOs Chris and Ben and be part of a team of content specialists and brand marketeers. 

Join in a really exciting growth phase in which you have the opportunity to have a significant influence on the image of a brand which enables freelancers to do what they love by solving their financial topics.

## Your responsibilities:

* You’ll develop and maintain the PR and Communications strategy
* You’ll develop and implement suitable PR measures, both for B2C and B2B target groups
* You’ll be the contact for journalists and incoming inquiries
* You’ll take care of media and speaker placements, including sparkling journalist pitches
* You’ll writing press releases
* You’ll writing and ghostwriting interviews, professional articles and LinkedIn articles
* You’ll continuously expand the media and journalist network
* You’ll take care of the PR basics: organizing photo material and photo shoots, maintaining the Kontist press page, maintaining the media distribution list
* You’ll constantly monitoring the news and our competition
* You’ll be the internal PR contact and work closely together with the Marketing, Content Creation, Social Media, HR and Employer Branding teams and the Kontist Stiftung
* You'll be closely working with our CEOs Chris and Ben, manage their social media channels (identifying exciting topics, writing the post and articles, post them and do the community management)

## Your profile:

* You have 5+ years of experience in PR and communications, ideally in the fintech / startup industry
* You have strong communication and writing skills
* You have a perfect command of the 🇩🇪 German language (written and spoken) and you are fluent in 🇬🇧 English (minimum C1)
* You have experience motivating and aligning people
* You have a broad skill set and will spark with your creative mind the way of how we communicate in many directions
* You can balance perfectionism and pragmatism
