## Tasks

Seeking an experienced Head of Tax to lead and build out their tax function. This individual will manage corporate tax compliance, advise on complex wind-downs, and work closely with internal teams to optimize and scale operations.

## Requirements

*   5–15 years of experience preparing corporate tax returns, with a strong track record in high-volume environments
*   Active EA or CPA license
*   Expertise in U.S. corporate tax law, including 1120 filings
*   Confident advising clients on complex wind-downs, acquisitions, and related tax matters
*   Interest in working with early-stage startups and scaling tax operations
*   Proven leadership experience managing tax preparers and bookkeepers
*   Strong communicator with a client-focused mindset

*   Salary: $175k–$275k + competitive equity
*   Location: On-site in Dumbo, Brooklyn (New York City)
*   Visa: TN or H1-B transfer sponsorship available if needed
