Are you a hands-on, product-minded engineer keen to bring your skills to a fast-paced tech startup? Do you want to take ownership in a young, ambitious team that’s building a scalable, AI-powered business? If so, Jurata might be the perfect place for you!

• Develop and maintain Next.js applications
• Migrate legacy apps, prototypes and experiments from no-code tools or vibe-code to production ready products
• Own backend services (Nest.js, python)
• Deliver fullstack features E2E across our product suite
• Take real ownership of problems to solve across their lifecycle: from idea through specifications to development, testing, release, and monitoring
• Engage in collaborative fast-moving team environment for code reviews and design discussions

Sometimes you can’t tick every box, but we would still love to hear from you if you think you’re a good fit.

• 4+ years working within the TypeScript ecosystem, with solid hands-on Next.js experience.
• Real architectural judgment. You understand best practices deeply enough to know when to break them, you reason clearly about trade-offs, and you make right calls about structure and dependencies.
• An uncompromising bar for quality. You write maintainable, well-tested software, and you hold that bar regardless of who - or what - wrote the first draft. You care about the small things and are ready to sweat the details.
• You use agents, they don't use you. You're fluent with agentic editors and lean on LLMs to move fast. But you always review what they produce critically.
• Proficiency with RESTful APIs and integrating third-party services.
• Clear communication. You explain complex topics well, are not afraid of asking questions and are able to coordinate reliably.
• Bonus: experience with any of TDD, DDD, MongoDB, Vercel, or AWS.
• In-office in Zürich. You'll need to already be in the Zürich area, or able to relocate here - note that we can only support relocation for EU/EFTA nationals.
