Why this role matters
At JOIN, we believe hiring should be easy, fast, and fair – for companies and candidates alike. That’s why we’re building intuitive, powerful recruiting software that helps businesses of all sizes find the right people effortlessly.
As our Account Executive for the DACH region, you’ll play a central role in scaling JOIN’s commercial success.
You’ll drive growth across Germany, Switzerland, and Austria – working directly with companies of all sizes, from SMBs to enterprise clients. This is not just another sales role – it’s an opportunity to become part of our DACH team, shape go-to-market strategy, and directly influence JOIN’s revenue growth, customer retention, and product adoption.

Tasks

What you’ll be doing
Your work will directly drive JOIN’s growth and customer success. Here’s what that looks like:

Identify new business opportunities and convert upsell and cross-sell opportunities through proactive outreach and account analysis.

Present JOIN’s solutions in a compelling, value-driven way – in German and English.

Own your pipeline and ensure accurate forecasting and CRM hygiene using Hubspot.

Collaborate closely with Account Management, Marketing, GTM and Product to deliver maximum value to clients.

Design and test outbound sales strategies tailored to your market segment.

Lead cold-calling campaigns to generate high-quality leads and book meetings.

Document and iterate on best practices and outbound sales playbooks.

Analyse results and continuously improve your sales performance and acumen.

Who you’ll work with
You’ll work directly with Sales Leadership and collaborate cross-functionally with Account Management, Marketing, and Product teams to support customers across their entire lifecycle. You’ll be part of a collaborative, feedback-driven culture that values clear communication, shared ownership, and continuous learning.

Requirements

What we’re looking for
We don’t believe in rigid checklists – but if most of these apply to you, we’d love to chat:
✔ You’re a builder, not just a doer. ✔ You want to contribute to the growth strategy in your territory. ✔ Fluency in German and strong English communication skills. ✔ 2–3 years of experience as an Account Executive or SDR/BDR, ideally in SaaS or Tech. ✔ Confident presenting and consulting via phone, video, and in-person meetings. ✔ Strong pipeline management and forecasting discipline. ✔ Comfortable owning targets and driving strategic client development. ✔ Reliable, proactive, and self-driven with a growth mindset.
Bonus points for:

Experience in HR tech or the recruitment industry.

Additional language skills.

Benefits

At JOIN, we thrive in a fast-moving, collaborative environment, and we are looking for colleagues who do too. That means:

We love collaborating in the office sharing knowledge with all colleagues, and we do understand the flexibility of working from home when needed

We adapt quickly and embrace change in a growth-oriented startup environment

We continuously challenge ourselves and each other to improve

This role might not be ideal if:

You prefer a highly structured environment

You want a fully remote position

You prefer minimal change and a slower pace

You’re not excited about ownership and growth
