Security system engineer (Romania)
Implementation projects for security systems and low-current installations for commercial, industrial buildings and critical infrastructure (CCTV systems, access control, fire detection, intrusion detection, PAVA systems, perimeter detection, etc.).
Clients: Public and private sector clients – office buildings, logistics centers, industrial facilities, public institutions, critical infrastructure, and the nuclear sector.
Job Objective
Ensuring the quotation, implementation, and maintenance of security and low-current systems, as well as the technical coordination of installation and commissioning works.
Tasks
Main Responsibilities
Preparing quotations for security and low-current systems
Technical coordination of execution works
Installation, commissioning, and maintenance of equipment and software applications
Technical and Professional Requirements
Education and certifications
Higher technical education: building installations engineering, electrical engineering, electronics, telecommunications, or similar fields
Specific qualifications: security systems engineer or designer (COR code 214438 or 215119)
CCNA certification is considered an advantage
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in quoting, design, installation, commissioning, or maintenance of intrusion detection systems, access control, CCTV, perimeter detection, fire detection, PAVA, or similar systems
Experience in commissioning and testing security systems in medium and large-scale projects
Required technical knowledge
Electricity, security systems / low-current systems, basic networking, basic IT, hardware–software integration
Ability to develop technical solutions, documentation, audit reports, and maintenance plans for security systems
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Advanced networking knowledge is an advantage
Soft skills
Organizational skills, planning abilities, teamwork, and coordination of technical field teams
Ability to structure and present information in a concise manner
Strong communication skills with clients, results-oriented mindset, initiative, and willingness to travel
Driving license category B
Medical fitness for working in environments with ionizing radiation, according to legal requirements
No criminal record
Foreign languages
- English – advanced level (ability to hold technical conversations in English)
