Technical Sales Consultant

Detroit, United States (hybrid)

INVENSITY, Inc., is looking for a sales professional
who will be responsible for client acquisition for business development.
This is a hybrid role requiring 2-3 workdays in the Detroit office.


  • Develop networking strategies to promote our engineering consultancy services directly to decision-makers in the industry, including attending relevant events and
  • Identify and acquire adequate cooperation partners for INVENSITY by conducting market research within the automotive product development industry
  • Focus sales efforts by studying existing INVENSITY projects and services
  • Conduct B2B customer acquisition through cold calling, delivering emails,
    following up on warm leads, and other outreach methods to secure new
  • Collaborate with our consulting engineers to recognize the potential of your customers and explain the advantages of working with our services
  • Manage the sales pipeline and sales process from prospecting to closing deals


  • Successfully completed Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in business, sales, marketing, management, or similar course of study
  • 1+ years of experience in client business generation through cold calling sales
  • Preferred experience with sales tools such as Zoom Info
  • Driven and persistent when cold-calling and developing new business leads
  • Must be goal oriented, proactive, and self-motivatedReflects excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills to successfully conduct prospection meetings
  • Possess an entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to identify industry needs
    and connect with relevant players, including clients, partners, and colleagues
  • Enthusiastic for new technologies and their potential impact on the industry
