For a long-term project with our finance client in Zurich (home office within Switzerland possible), we are looking for an experienced IT Operations Specialist - Kafka/Openshift.

## Tasks

*   Responsible for ensuring that all activities are carried out by regulatory requirements to ensure the security of the services
*   Securing operations in the areas of Openshift and Kafka, ideally also in other topics such as Backup, Linux Server or interdisciplinary and cross-team work

## Requirements

*   **Many years of experience in operating OpenShift and Kafka clusters,** ideally within the finance industry
*   **Proficiency in container storage, ideally Port works, and familiarity with image registries, ideally Quay**
*   **Strong knowledge in Git, Argo CD, Customize, and Helm as well as monitoring with Prometheus and Grafana**
*   **Experience in automating processes and workflows using Ansible, GIT, and CI/CD**
*   **Proven experience in a RHEL environment with good shell scripting skills**
*   Experience with Red Hat Satellite and knowledge of NetBackup and storage (HDS) is an advantage
*   Networked and service-oriented way of thinking as well as willingness to take on cross-technological tasks
*   High sense of responsibility and quality awareness as well as proactive action
*   **Fluent in English**, German is a big plus
