We are seeking a dynamic and forward-thinking HR Manager to serve as a strategic business partner to the local Management Team within Veco. This role is responsible for aligning human capital strategies with business objectives, driving organizational effectiveness, and fostering a high-performance culture. The HR Manager will also lead and develop a high-performing HR team, ensuring operational excellence and strategic impact across all HR functions. The ideal candidate will be a proactive advisor, skilled in workforce planning, talent management, and change leadership
The HR Manager will report directly to the HR Director for Global Forming and will have a dotted line reporting relationship to the Site Leader of Veco.
Responsibilities
The HR Manager for Veco is responsible for, but not limited to the following:

Composition/Authorities
- Works within the framework of general policy guidelines.
- Takes necessary initiatives aimed at acceptance of policy consequences and arrangements.
- Sets priorities regarding tasks to be performed.
- Determines when other disciplines are informed and consulted.
- Establishes budgets for HR, including recruitment, selection, education, training, and labor costs.
- Has signing authority up to €100,000 for employment contracts, projects, etc.
Requirements
Manual Skills
- Required for using PC/laptop and personnel information system.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Advanced degree preferred).
- 8+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 2 years in a strategic HRBP or managerial role.
- Proven experience leading and developing HR teams.
- Strong business acumen and ability to align HR strategies with organizational goals.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and influencing skills.
- Proficiency in HRIS systems and data analytics tools.
- Experience with managing and interpreting legislation and current regulations
- Prior experience building solid relationships with Works Councils and managing processes seamlessly
Foreign Language Proficiency - English proficiency is required
- Dutch proficiency is required
