Are you a motivated student or recent graduate with a background in business, finance, or a related field? Do you have a passion for venture capital and creating social impact? Are you excited about advancing LGBTQ+ representation in the European startup ecosystem? If so, we’d love to meet you!

We are seeking a dynamic and driven Visiting Analyst VC (f/m/d) to join our venture capital team for a minimum of 3 months, preferably 4+ months, starting in September 2025. In this role, you will work closely with our partners, gaining hands-on experience in all aspects of building and managing a high-impact VC portfolio.

Tasks

As a Visiting Analyst at identity, you’ll be involved in a range of activities that provide a comprehensive understanding of the venture capital landscape. Here’s what you’ll be doing:

  • Participate in all stages of the investment cycle, including conducting founder calls, supporting due diligence processes, and preparing materials for investment committee meetings.
  • Conduct in-depth market research to identify and evaluate potential investment opportunities, with a focus on the LGBTQ+ community.
  • Assist in managing our portfolio companies by helping to establish reporting structures, and facilitating communication between fund LPs and portfolio companies.
  • Contribute to expanding our presence in key European startup hubs like London, Paris, and Berlin by organizing and participating in networking events.

Requirements

  • You are passionate about venture capital and eager to create a positive impact in the LGBTQ+ community.
  • You hold an outstanding bachelor’s degree or higher from a top university.
  • Previous work experience, such as an internship in a start-up, VC/PE fund, consultancy, or banking is a plus.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English is a mandatory requirement.
  • EU passport or existing work permit for Germany is a must (we cannot sponsor visas).
