The Lead Generation Specialist builds and feeds the top of Gilytics' commercial funnel. This role identifies, researches, and qualifies prospective customers across utilities, grid operators, energy companies, and professional service firms in the North American market, and converts research into booked, qualified conversations for the Business Development team. The role is data driven and AI native by design: outbound at Gilytics' scale only works if research, enrichment, and personalisation are automated.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Build and maintain target account lists aligned to the Gilytics ICP by market, segment, and region
Research accounts and identify the right stakeholders, planning, permitting, grid development, GIS, and environmental functions
Execute multichannel outbound (LinkedIn, email, events, industry associations) with personalized, sector- relevant messaging
Qualify inbound enquiries from the website, webinars, and campaigns against agreed criteria
Book qualified discovery meetings for Business Developers and hand over with complete context
Maintain CRM hygiene: every account, contact, activity, and outcome logged and current
Track market signals, tenders, grid expansion plans, regulatory changes, and flag timing opportunities
Feed message performance and objection patterns back to Business Development, Marketing, and Product
EDUCATION
Required: Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Engineering, or a technical/scientific field or equivalent practical experience.
Desirable: Training in B2B demand generation, sales development, or CRM/marketing automation platforms
EXPERIENCE
Required: Min. 1,2 years in lead generation, sales development (SDR/BDR), demand generation, or market research in a B2B environment; comfort working in English in an international team
Desirable: Experience selling into Power & Utilities, energy, or infrastructure; exposure to GIS or spatial planning; hands on experience with a CRM and outbound tooling; additional languages (ES / DE / FR / PT)
