Gilytics develops and provides a cloud solution for automated routing, design, analysis and comparison of energy, telecommunication and transport infrastructure (power lines, pipelines, roads, analytics, hydrogen, etc..).

Although awarded with international prizes and selected for competitive global programs, we don’t sit on laurels and we always strive to improve our solution to help our clients!

Our ambition is to become the standard solution for the automated design of energy, telecommunication and transportation infrastructure and to make the planning process more transparent, digital and democratic!

We’re seeking a Junior Sales Development Representative (SDR), preferably with a technical background in engineering, physics, IT or geospatial sciences. You’ll play a key role in identifying and engaging potential clients in the electricity and infrastructure sectors, helping them discover how our technology can accelerate their transition to a sustainable energy future.

Tasks

  • Lead Generation & Prospecting:
  1. Identify and research potential clients in the energy, telecom, and transportation sectors.
  2. Initiate outbound outreach via email, phone, and social media to generate interest.
  3. Qualify inbound leads and schedule discovery calls for Account Executives.
  • Sales Support:
  1. Collaborate with Account Executives to develop and execute outreach strategies.
  2. Maintain accurate records of interactions in the CRM system.
  3. Assist in preparing sales materials, presentations, and product demos.
  • Understand our customers.
  1. Learn and articulate the value of Gilytics’ SaaS solutions.
  2. Understand customer pain points, processes and how our technology addresses them.
  3. Stay informed on industry trends, GIS applications, and infrastructure planning challenges.
  • Collaboration & Events:
  1. Work with marketing to support campaigns and events.
  2. Represent Gilytics at trade shows, webinars, and industry events (as needed).

Requirements

  1. 1–3 years of experience in a sales or business development role, preferably in tech or engineering oriented SaaS, geospatial technology or tech.
  2. Degree in engineering, physics, geoinformatics, or a related technical field.
  3. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  4. Fluent in English. German (C2 level) and additional languages are a plus.
  5. Curious, proactive, and eager to grow in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.
  6. Passion for the energy transition and digital transformation of the electricity industry.
  7. Self-motivated, curious, and eager to learn about technical solutions.
  8. Experience with CRM tools (e.g., Pipedrive, HubSpot) is a plus
  9. Experience and knowledge of electricity/power market (grid operators, utilities), EPCs and GIS technology is an advantage.
