As a specialized recruiting firm, we are hiring on behalf of our client an experienced Tech Lead who will own the technical core of a globally used AI platform.

This is not a research role and not a prototype environment! You will work on a real, revenue-generating product used by millions of users and operating under extreme growth and real production pressure. Your technical decisions directly impact stability, performance, and user experience in live production.

Tasks

Actively develop production-level code and take overall technical ownership.

Provide technical leadership to a small senior AI team (3–4 engineers).

Design the architecture for training, inference, and deployment of language models under high load and real-time requirements.

Improve context handling, memory mechanisms, retrieval approaches, and response quality.

Define and drive fine-tuning and post-training strategies.

Build precise moderation and classification solutions for adult / NSFW content, balancing safety with model quality and user freedom.

Requirements

7+ years of experience in software engineering and/or machine learning - company's main product LLM.

Proven responsibility for AI or LLM systems serving millions of users in production - at least 30 million tokens per day.

Strong hands-on experience with Python, PyTorch, and modern LLM frameworks.

Practical experience with fine-tuning, data preparation, and model steering.

Comfortable working with adult / NSFW content within clearly defined technical and safety boundaries.

Able to collaborate reliably within European time zones (+/- 3 hours from European time zones) and having the right to work there.

Fluent in English.

Benefits

Fully remote role with long-term perspective.

Flexible contract models (B2B or EoR).

Salary up to $ 200,000 (depending on experience and setup)

Additional $ 80,000 in equity (company shares or stock options)

20 days of paid vacation and flexible working arrangements.

Budget for professional development, conferences, and learning resources.

Modern hardware and access to current AI tools.

High degree of autonomy and direct technical impact on a scalable product.

You can expect a focused environment with short decision paths, high pace, and real technical ownership — not a corporate structure.

If you want to build LLM systems that operate under real production pressure and extreme growth, we look forward to your application.
