You will have the opportunity to lay the structure for scaling in a small high-performing team from Berlin and will work directly with the the founder. Our ambition is to build handly into a generational business. We’re not playing to compete. Not to win. But to dominate the category we’re creating. First in Germany. Then Europe. Then globally.

About us:

At Handly, we support up-and-coming entrepreneurs to launch, manage and grow their own home service businesses (Handwerk). We help them setup their company, build their website, optimize for local SEO, and generate leads. On top of that, they get the software to handle everything—from writing quotes and invoices to closing deals and managing jobs efficiently.

Essentially, we build incredible success stories with people who are true experts in their craft. These are highly skilled, technical professionals creating real value for their customers. Demand for their services far outweighs supply, and their clients are deeply grateful for the work they deliver through handly.

We earn money through a revenue share of our home service businesses. This aligns our incentives 100%—meaning incredible transparency and trust between us and the business owners. We have never had churn, ever.

We’re backed by top-tier VCs like Harry Stebbings (20VC), Fred Destin (Stride), and Base10 (US based fund). We also have incredible advisors, including Ershad Jamil (former Chief Growth Officer at ServiceTitan), who helped scale the company into the world’s largest home services platform—now publicly listed at a $10B market cap.

This is the job to be done:

Work directly with the founder on the most important company related topics and take ownership of special projects and initiatives.

Operational Backbone:

  • Finance & Accounting: Set up lightweight systems, streamline invoicing, manage monthly closes, prep investor reports.
  • People Ops: Run the end‑to‑end hiring pipeline, schedule interviews, craft JD’s, and ensure stellar candidate experience.
  • Investor Comms: Own reporting, draft updates, and keep our metrics data room ready.

Build what's missing:

  • Tracking & Data: Set up the structure for better insights and visibility into our key metrics.
  • Strategy: work with me to setup a framework, define what matters, align the company around it, and make sure we execute.
