FullStack Developer

Glartek, founded in 2017, is a fast-growing leader in Augmented Reality (AR) solutions for the Manufacturing Industry and our mission is to increase the efficiency and safety of production and maintenance processes. Our software solutions combine the AR and Internet of Things (IoT) domains to bring visibility, optimization, and reassurance to field operations. We are pioneers in the use of augmented reality in the development of our industry-focused technology products, using hardware such as the Microsoft HoloLens 2. Glartek has offices in Lisbon and Leiria, Portugal. The company has large customers such as EDP and Renault and has raised over €1.5M in venture capital.

This intense and demanding role will require you to be involved in all development activities from concept to completion. You will be a versatile, high-energy, and problem-solving outstanding contributor. You will be involved in a fast-paced day-to-day cloud and agile development environment, with like-minded outstanding colleagues. With your experience and technical knowledge, you will naturally own the technical challenges and solutions, and lead the team and the development activities.

• Working across the entire system architecture.
• Meeting with the design team to discuss UI/UX ideas and specifications.
• Responsible for implementing full-stack features.
• Establishing strategy and development pipelines.
• Planning and implementing new functionalities.
• Transforming design ideas into functional features.
• Create documentation.
• Identifying and fixing code errors and performance.
• Do code review from your team mates.
• Testing new functionalities and UI/UX dynamics.
• Ensuring products conform to high industry standards.
• Lead the team and development initiatives.

• BSc/MSc degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a similar field.
• Experience with Node.js or Go Lang.
• Experience with SQL or NoSQL databases, such as MongoDB.
• Programming proficiency for React.js, Angular or Vue.js applications is a plus.
• Knowledge of GraphQL, TypeScript, and AWS services is a plus.
• Comfortable learning new technologies and tools.
• Comfortable working under pressure and frequent priority changes.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Good troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Passion for improving how stuff is done, getting things better, and helping others.
