CAYA sets an end to paperwork. Our mission is to automate administrative activities for small and medium-sized businesses. Our SaaS solution is already used by tenthousands of customers every day. CAYA is backed by renowned investors and led by an experienced founding team. We are entering a new growth and team phase. Onwards and upwards! Therefore, we are looking for a Head of Finance who takes on responsibility from day one and runs finance, controlling and legal at CAYA.

## Tasks

*   Run, lead and expand our Finance & Controlling as well as Legal department (currently 2 FTE).
*   Actively contribute to the strategic direction of the company and act as a dependable business partner to the C-Level in financial, legal and strategic topics.
*   Responsible for planning (business plan, scenario planning, ...) and reporting both within the company and to the shareholders and other stakeholders.
*   Play a vital role in our fundraising.
*   Use financial data to challenge our business and contribute to operational decision making
*   Act as a negotiating partner in master agreements, oversee contract management of the company and involve legal assistance, if necessary.
*   Support our growth by implementing and optimizing resilient and scalable processes and structures for your departments.
*   Act as a negotiating partner in master agreements, oversee contract management of the company, and involve legal assistance, if necessary. advisor and dunning of unpaid invoices in collaboration with our collection agency.

## Requirements

*   University degree in Business Administration, Finance or related disciplines
*   Work experience: Ideally prev. consultant at one of the “big four” or another reputable accounting firm and/or experience at a start-up owning the finance function
*   You are a numbers person and act KPI-driven
*   With your strong analytical thinking, it is easy for you to derive recommendations for action based on data
*   You have a very good grasp and can quickly familiarise yourself with complex topics
*   You are hands-on and are not afraid of getting things done yourself
*   You are a team player with excellent communication skills
*   Native/C2 German, fluent in written and spoken English
