OCIRIS is one of the leading companies with the topic DDoS protection in the hosting market. Brands like Corero or A10 have been profiting from OCIRIS know-how for years to continuously enhance their products. We can protect every service in every country persistent against DDoS attacks. Therefore we are using a hybrid solution of different anti-DDoS products, to differentiate the good traffic from UDP flood or amplification attacks and block them in real time. Right now we have a 200Gbps inLine DDoS protection which is unique in Europe. For our cloud services we only use servers from Dell and Supermicro. For years Intel Xeon processors have emerged for their good performance for any kind of gaming instances. Paired with OpenStack virtualizations we can assess resources to your product on demand and automatically without anyone noticing anything in the game itself. We are trying to get a perfect utilization of max. 50% on all our servers in order to guarantee the best gaming feeling.

Your tasks

Not only do you know your product and are always able to provide information about the current status, but you also create transparency, make decisions and track progress in development.
With your agile mindset, you will work with us to lay the foundation for an inspiring user experience on all channels.
With a focus on Web Shop/Web Interface, you will take requirements from business units and prioritize them in collaboration with stakeholders inside and outside IT.
As Product Owner – Web Shop/Web Interface, you will be the link between our functional departments and the technological implementation teams and, as the main technical contact, you will clear hurdles and obstacles for our implementation teams.
You structure the requirements into task packages and create user stories and acceptance criteria for them.
The management and prioritization of the Product Backlog and the Team Sprint Backlogs for the optimal control of our software development is a central part of your job.

Gaming affin, has run game servers in his life, so this is not absolute new territory for him/her

Qualifikation

Your skills

More important to us than your degree or education is your fire for webshop technologies, your organizational skills, and your experience in requirements management and backlog prioritization.
You are very familiar with agile software development and have a good technical understanding.
In recent years, you have already gained experience as a product owner and in project management.
As a real communication talent, you appreciate the exchange at eye level with technical and professional contacts and don’t break a sweat even when problems arise ad hoc? Then make this challenge your project!
