Full Stack Developer

Flim is the go-to platform for iconographic search, helping creatives worldwide discover inspiration and bring their boldest ideas to life. We’re riding the wave of the deep learning revolution in image and video generation, using cutting-edge AI to shape the next generation of creative tools.

Our SaaS platform powers top creatives across Hollywood, music production, video games, fashion, and more. Since our launch in 2020, we’ve grown to over 200k users worldwide, including prestigious clients like A24, Publicis, Apple, Jacquemus, and BETC. Based in Paris, our 20-person team is scaling fast and we’re just getting started.

We’re looking for a Full Stack Web Developer to help build and improve our products across web, mobile, and back-office platforms, while contributing to our serverless backend and API architecture. Frontend development

• Build and maintain user-facing features for our web, mobile, and back-office apps using Next.js and TypeScript.
• Ensure high-quality, responsive, and accessible UI across platforms.
• Collaborate with design and product teams to deliver AI features quickly while respecting Figma mock-ups.

Backend development

• Develop and maintain serverless functions on Google Cloud using TypeScript.
• Contribute to our evolving API architecture, currently being migrated to Hono.
• Optimize performance, reliability, and scalability of backend services.

Collaboration & workflow

• Work closely with product, design, and ML teams to implement new AI-driven features.
• Participate in code reviews, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement of our engineering practices.
• Help shape the technical direction of our products and backend architecture.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of professional experience in full stack development.
• Strong experience with TypeScript and modern JavaScript frameworks (Next.js preferred) and State Management Tools (Redux)
• Hands-on experience with serverless functions (Google Cloud Functions or similar).
• Familiarity with APIs and backend architecture.
• Understanding of frontend best practices: responsive design, understanding Figma mock-ups, performance, and accessibility.
• Ability to work autonomously, communicate effectively, and collaborate in a small, fast-moving team.

Optional but a plus:

• Experience with Firebase, cloud infrastructure, and real-time data handling.
• Exposure to Hono or similar lightweight API frameworks.
• Familiarity with testing frameworks and CI/CD pipelines.
