Tasks

Role Purpose

We are a fast-growing energy company with around 30 people and strong ambitions to scale. As we grow, our organization becomes more complex - with increasing cross-functional coordination, sharper strategic priorities, and higher demands on execution.

As our new Head of Business Oparetions, you will be the backbone of how our company operates. Your mandate is to create clarity, set direction, and ensure the company focuses on what matters most. You will own our operating cadence, support the leadership team in prioritizing effectively, and make sure decisions are turned into action across the organization.

What You’ll Do

Your mission will be to drive company-wide execution, sharpen alignment across functions, and ensure that strategic priorities translate into measurable progress. In close collaboration with the leadership team, you will set the strategic direction, while working across the entire organization and stepping in wherever high-leverage support is needed. Expect a broad and highly impactful variety of responsibilities, including:

Company execution and operating cadence

  • Develop, own and maintain a goal-setting framework end-to-end that fits our needs, while holding accountability for company progress.
  • Run our operating rhythm across quarterly planning, leadership meetings, and cross-functional reviews.

Cross-functional alignment

  • Act as the connective tissue across all functions, making sure there is smooth collaboration across the whole team.
  • Facilitate and structure All-hands, Offsites and Strategy days, ensuring everyone moves in the same direction.

CEO enablement & strategic support

  • Prepare and shape materials for board meetings, investor updates, and strategic discussions. Conduct analytical deep-dives to support strategic decisions.
  • Manage and protect CEO priorities, filtering requests and helping focus leadership attention where it matters most.

Building the company

  • Support organizational design and hiring plans across teams as we scale internationally.
  • Implement effective internal processes that improve decision-making and internal communication, while championing our culture and way of working.

Requirements

We’re looking for someone who thrives in fast-moving environments, brings clarity to complexity, and elevates the effectiveness of the entire organization. Exceptional candidates come from many backgrounds - what matters most is your ability to think clearly, execute quickly, and work collaboratively.

The strongest candidates will bring several of the following:

  • Proven experience: 4+ years in fast-paced environments such as strategy, operations, consulting, startups, or similar roles. Ideally, you have worked in a similar role in an high-growth context before.
  • High-agency: You move fast, unblock problems, and drive progress without being asked, operating with minimal supervision and proactively identifying what needs to happen next.
  • Thriving in ambiguity: Demonstrated ability to lead complex, cross-functional initiatives under ambitious timelines with limited information or guidance.
  • Strategic + hands-on: Able to shift seamlessly between high-level thinking and deep operational execution.
  • Sharp communication: Clear and concise communicator, written and verbal, who can distill complexity into what matters.
  • Collaboration: High social intelligence and empathy, able to work effectively with a wide range of personalities and functions. Comfortable influencing others and creating alignment across stakeholders.

CULTURE

  • Our people come first. We value initiative, kindness, and ownership, and create an environment where ambitious work and personal growth go hand in hand.
  • You’ll join a tight-knit team on an ambitious trajectory, where your impact will be highly visible every single day.
  • We believe strong teams are built by bringing together different perspectives, backgrounds, and lived experiences.
  • We balance deep focus with collaboration, and we make sure there’s room for plenty of fun along the way.

Benefits

  • Vacation: Enjoy 30 days (5 weeks + 1) of paid holidays to recharge.
  • Warrants: You get warrants at an early stage of the company, with sizeable upside potential.
  • Pension: Benefit from an attractive employer-supported pension scheme, including health insurance.
  • Parental leave: Take advantage of our generous parental leave policy.
  • Equipment: Choose your preferred IT setup (Mac, Windows, etc.) with a budget of 25,000 DKK.
  • Learning: Grow your skills with an annual 4,000 DKK learning and development budget.
  • Office: We have a vibrant office-first culture in a Central Copenhagen with a flexible remote work policy.
  • Lunch: Enjoy employer-supported catered lunch at the office every day.
  • Socials: Join us for monthly social events and bi-annual offsites, fostering a strong team spirit.
  • Visa: We support non-EU residents by sponsoring VISAs.

Not sure if you should apply?

We strongly encourage applications from people of all backgrounds who are excited to help shape the future of clean energy.

Research shows that men tend to apply when they meet ~60% of the requirements, while women and members of underrepresented groups often apply only when they meet them all.

If this role excites you but you don’t tick every single box, please still reach out. We’d be happy to explore whether it could be the right match.
