Catering Quality Assurance Manager (m/f/d)

Whether to support defense forces, for rapid disaster response, or for construction projects off the beaten track. We plan, build, and operate camps and temporary infrastructure. In doing so, we manage camp infrastructure, including power generation, water supply, and sanitation in a wide variety of environments.

For our catering operation in a military base in Latvia, we are in urgent need of a Quality Assurance (QA)/Quality Control (QC) manager.

• Implement and maintain the FEPS Quality Assurance system on site in line with NATO / NSPA requirements.
• Ensure full application of HACCP principles, ISO 22000 standards, and FEPS SOPs.
• Oversee temperature control logs, food sampling, cleaning, pest control, audits, NCRs, and training activities.
• Maintain inspection readiness and QA documentation within the DMS.
• Coordinate with the Corporate QA director to schedule audits, inspections, and evaluations.
• Analyze audit findings and collaborate with the catering manager to address deficiencies and implement corrective actions.
• Prepare and present regular QA status reports to senior management outlining quality performance, audit results, and improvement initiatives.
• Conduct daily QA briefings and communicate hygiene risks and corrective actions immediately.

• A minimum of 5 years’ experience in Quality Assurance / Quality Control within food service or catering operations
• Experience with a military customer is beneficial
• Knowledge of the applicable international standards concerning food according to the Global Food Statement of Work
• Valid training and qualifications in HACCP principles
• Very good understanding of ISO 22000
• Proficient in spoken and written English
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to solve problems and make decisions under pressure
• The candidate must have a passport from a NATO country and be eligible to work in the EU
• Clean police record
