Catering Quality Assurance Manager (m/f/d)

Whether to support defense forces, for rapid disaster response, or for construction projects off the beaten track. We plan, build, and operate camps and temporary infrastructure. In doing so, we manage camp infrastructure, including power generation, water supply, and sanitation in a wide variety of environments.

For our catering operation in a military base in Latvia, we are in urgent need of a Catering Quality Assurance (QA)/Quality Control (QC) manager.

• Maintain FEPS quality standards for all aspects of our catering operation in collaboration with the Management Team.
• Implement procedures, guidelines, and checklists to ensure consistency in service delivery and operational processes.
• Plan and execute regular internal audits to evaluate the adherence to quality standards and identify areas for improvement.
• Coordinate with the Corporate QA director to schedule audits, inspections, and evaluations.
• Analyze audit findings and collaborate with the catering manager to address deficiencies and implement corrective actions.
• Monitor and analyze guest feedback.
• Identify trends and areas of concern in guest feedback and work with relevant teams to implement improvements.
• Conduct workshops and training sessions to ensure employees understand their roles in upholding quality standards.
• Prepare and present regular reports to senior management outlining quality performance, audit results, and improvement initiatives.

• Graduated from hotel or catering school, business administration or equivalent
• The candidate must have a passport from a NATO country and be eligible to work in the EU
• A minimum of 10 years in a QA management role in collective catering (1000 pax buffet style)
• Experience with military customer is a plus.
• Possess certificates or diplomas in HACCP etc.
• Very good understanding of ISO 22000
• High level of English is a must, both spoken and written
• Clean police record is a must
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent customer service skills
• Experience in training of international staff
• Flexibility and the ability to solve problems and make decisions under pressure
• A creative and innovate approach to problem solving
• General administrative and IT skills
• Driving license B
