We are looking for an enthusiastic HR Assistant to join our small HR team in the Falklands Islands to provide an HR administrative function and to support the HR Advisor. The Falkland Island Company is the largest private employer in the Falkland Islands and has a diverse number of divisions including Retail, Construction, Garage and 4x4 showroom, tourism and property.

## Tasks

*   Assist with the whole recruitment process including all documentation from job descriptions, advertisements, interviews etc to contract of employment and on boarding documentation.
*   Application of work permits
*   Assist Managers and employees with HR related employment queries.
*   Maintenance of HR Information system.
*   Production of monthly HR reports
*   Various other HR Related administrative tasks

## Requirements

*   3 years proven administrative experience preferably within Human Resources environment.
*   Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
*   High attention to detail and accuracy.
*   Creative use of social media for recruitment purposes.
*   Good organsiational and problem solving skills
*   Ability to work independently
*   Ability to maintain confidentiality 
*   Knowledge of HR related systems
