Your mission
As our IT Administrator, you are the owner of everything that enables our team to work productively, securely, and without friction: From laptops and office WiFi to networks, access rights, IT tooling and more.
You ensure our workplace IT runs reliably today and scales sensibly as exmox continues to grow. You’re hands-on, pragmatic, and proactive in fixing issues, preventing them, and continuously improving how we work.
In this role you will:
- Own our workplace IT environment across macOS and Windows for 120+ employees.
- Manage the full hardware lifecycle: ordering, setup, onboarding & offboarding, inventory, replacements.
- Maintain and improve office IT infrastructure, including WiFi, printers, meeting room tech, and firewalls.
- Ensure secure access management and basic IT security best practices.
- Be the first point of contact for IT-related issues, providing friendly and efficient on-site and remote support.
- Ensure IT processes and systems follow GDPR requirements and IT compliance standards.
- Document systems, processes, and standards to keep IT transparent and scalable.
- Coordinate external IT vendors and service providers when needed.
- Continuously optimize tools, processes, and employee IT experience.

Your profile
- Hands-on experience as an IT Administrator, IT Support Specialist, or System Administrator.
- Strong knowledge of macOS and Windows environments.
- Proven experience owning Google Workspace; knowledge of Microsoft 365 is a plus.
- Solid understanding of networks, hardware, and basic IT security.
- Experience supporting non-technical users with patience and clarity.
- A structured, ownership-driven mindset. You fix issues and prevent them.
- Very good English and German skills (other languages are a plus).

Please note: this is not a remote only position, we offer you a flexible hybrid model here in Hamburg, Germany - working from home on Mondays & Fridays, coming to the office on Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday!
