## About the Role

We’re looking for someone to turn our social presence into one of our most powerful growth and brand-building channels. You’ll be responsible for building and running channel strategies that drive awareness, relevance, and engagement, and fuel the full customer journey from first touch to loyal repeat purchases.   

You’ll set the creative and strategic vision for social, while rolling up your sleeves to execute in the early stages. We’re looking for someone with a track record of building and scaling social as a business driver, not just running channels.  

You’ll lead the transformation of our Instagram-first strategy while laying the foundations for a scalable social footprint across other platforms (LinkedIn, Pinterest, YouTube, and beyond). We’re a startup, so you can expect the role to be very hands-on: from shaping the strategy and creating content, to managing community interactions and tracking performance. You’ll work closely with our influencer, performance marketing, and brand teams to ensure social is amplifying and integrating well with all channels.  

This is a startup role: A successful candidate is resourceful, creative, and experience in making impact without unlimited budgets.  

## What You’ll Be Responsible For

You're defining and evolving the long-term role of social in our brand and growth strategy:  

* __Develop and own our social channel strategy:__ starting with Instagram, then scaling learnings to additional platforms over time.
* __Turn social into a true conversion layer, not a content graveyard:__ optimise profiles, bios, highlights, and landing experiences to convert traffic from influencer, paid, and organic reach.
* __Integrate social with paid, influencer marketing, and ecommerce:__ collaborate with these teams to warm audiences, improve creative performance, and support campaign goals.
* __Lead community engagement as a growth lever:__ respond quickly and meaningfully to comments/DMs, foster positive sentiment, and build loyalty through interaction.
* __Lead day-to-day social execution:__ oversee and guide content creation (with the ability to produce yourself when needed), ensuring creative quality and brand consistency across channels
* __Establish tracking and reporting systems:__ monitor profile-to-site flow, CTR, engagement, sentiment, and audience trends to guide content and budget decisions.
* __Develop the team:__ Mentor junior team members or freelancers as the team scales

## What We’re Looking For

* __Minimum 5 years of proven experience__ delivering business impact via social for consumer brands, ideally in a startup or high-growth environment.
* __Demonstrated creative leadership:__ able to both set the bar for content and roll up your sleeves and make it happen.
* __Track record__ of turning social into a performance-driving channel, not just engagement
* __Experience presenting results__ and recommendations to senior stakeholders or leadership
* __Strong understanding of platform-native behaviour__ and algorithm trends, especially on Instagram.
* __Experience managing community engagement__, and using it to drive measurable brand and performance results.
* __Data-literate:__ able to use analytics to shape strategy and report impact (Google Analytics, platform insights, UTM tracking), and setting up your own reports
* __Experience working cross-functionally__ with paid, influencer, and brand teams.
* Comfortable with __both strategic and tactical execution:__ from developing the roadmap to jumping in and making it happen.
* __Experience managing or mentoring__ junior team members, agencies, or freelancers
* Fluent in English; also in __German__ is a plus
* Based in Berlin, or willing to relocate.
