We are looking for an experienced Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central / Dynamics NAV Developer to join an established and growing Microsoft technology environment in Milan.
This is an excellent opportunity for a developer who enjoys working on ERP solutions, understanding business requirements, developing tailored solutions, and working across different industries and business processes.
You will work closely with functional consultants, support teams and customers, contributing to the development, enhancement and integration of Microsoft Dynamics NAV and Business Central solutions.
Tasks
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop and implement customisations, extensions and integrations for Microsoft Dynamics NAV / Business Central.
- Analyse business and technical requirements and translate them into effective ERP solutions.
- Work closely with functional consultants and support teams to understand requirements and define appropriate technical solutions.
- Produce and maintain technical documentation, development specifications and test documentation.
- Develop, execute and document tests to ensure the quality, accuracy, reliability and performance of solutions.
- Provide development effort estimates to support project planning, prioritisation and resource allocation.
- Support data migration activities into Microsoft Dynamics NAV / Business Central.
- Investigate and resolve technical issues and contribute to continuous improvements of existing solutions.
- Collaborate with project teams throughout the full development lifecycle.
Requirements
Requirements
- Several years of professional experience in ERP software development, ideally with Microsoft Dynamics NAV and/or Dynamics 365 Business Central.
- Strong understanding of software development methodologies and best practices.
- Good knowledge of ERP processes and how different business functions interact within an ERP implementation.
- Experience with reporting tools.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with some of the following technologies is advantageous: AL / C/AL, .NET, Microsoft Visual Studio, Microsoft SQL Server, Web Services / APIs, Windows and networking environments
- Good understanding of development, testing and deployment processes.
- Good command of English.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
