As an Embedded Systems Engineer, you will play a critical role in our mission to scale negative emission technologies.

You will work with our R&D team to develop a robust IoT communications infrastructure that transmits the in-field data from our innovative sensor to the cloud.

## Tasks

*   Design, code, and test embedded software for operating devices in R&D and production environments
*   Optimize the performance of hardware for low-power operation
*   Setup rigorous quality tests
*   Continuous improvement of communications and data software
*   Create documentation for end-users
*   Work with an interdisciplinary team of engineers, scientists, and experienced founders

## Requirements

*   At least a Bachelor's or Master's degree in software and/or embedded software
*   5+ years industry experience in embedded software design and hardware
*   Proficient in embedded software programming in Python, C++, Git
*   Proficiency with Nordic NRF micro-controllers, FreeRTOS, data acquisition systems
*   Proficiency with various communications protocols including BLE, LoRa, SPI & I2C
*   Excellent verbal and written communication skills
*   Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
