What you’ll own and do
Data Modeling & Metrics: Develop and maintain data models for transactional, analytical, and predictive use cases. Define key business metrics and enable stakeholders to generate insights.
Analytics & Data Products: Design analytics solutions and scalable data products for marketing, operations, and finance.
Data Mart Management: Maintain SAS Data Mart, ensuring data integrity, security, and performance optimization.
Data Quality & Governance: Implement quality assurance, enforce governance policies, and develop metadata management systems.
Automation & Optimization: Automate data pipelines, optimize transformations, and improve query performance.
Collaboration & Innovation: Work with cross-functional teams to align technical solutions with business goals and integrate new technologies.

Who you are
4+ years of experience in data engineering, with a strong focus on data modeling and analytics.
Advanced expertise in ETL/ELT pipeline design, data modeling, and metrics computation using tools like Apache Airflow, NiFi, or dbt.
Proficiency in modern data architectures (e.g., Data Lakehouse, Delta Lake, Apache Iceberg).
Advanced SQL skills and experience with data warehouses like BigQuery, Snowflake, or SingleStore.
Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Golang.
Strong understanding of data quality monitoring, validation frameworks, and metadata management tools.
Experience with BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Metabase) to design actionable insights dashboards.
Experience in e-commerce, fintech, or healthcare domains is plus
Familiarity with machine learning pipelines and vector databases.
Strong problem-solving skills and business logic thinking.
