About us
We are a fast-growing European healthcare company operating at the intersection of medical cannabis, digital health, and regulated healthcare services. With a strong, profitable core business in Europe, centralized group functions (including procurement, finance, supply chain, and quality/regulatory), and a proven operational backbone, we are now building a scalable UK-based clinic and technology platform.
Our ambition is to redefine patient access, experience, and outcomes by tightly integrating technology, clinical workflows, and data-driven growth.
Tasks
The Role
We are looking for GMC-registered Consultant Psychiatrists who are open to exploring cannabis-based medicines within a structured, evidence-led clinical environment. As an early clinical partner, you will assess and manage patients exploring medical cannabis treatment options across a range of psychiatric indications.
This is a foundational role: alongside patient-facing work, there is potential for the right candidate to grow into a Medical Director responsibility, helping to shape clinical governance, prescribing standards, and the wider clinical model of our UK platform.
What you will be doing
- Conduct video-based psychiatric consultations with patients exploring CBMP treatment, including new assessments and ongoing reviews
- Make evidence-led prescribing decisions in line with our clinical governance framework
- Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team of pharmacists and nurses, with pre-consultation and follow-up tasks supported by the wider clinical team
- Engage in clinical outcome data collection and help build the UK evidence base for CBMPs in psychiatry
- Contribute to clinical governance, MDT meetings, and continuous improvement of our prescribing protocols
- For senior candidates: contribute to (or lead) Medical Director-level responsibilities, including governance frameworks, prescribing policy, and clinical strategy
- Complete a structured clinical induction before conducting your own clinic: observe a minimum of three MDT meetings and shadow three full patient consultations (with patient consent); the first clinic must be observed by the Medical Director
- Participate in the high-risk patient register and 18–24 year-old patient register, applying enhanced monitoring protocols for vulnerable patients in line with our clinical governance framework
- Obtain documented informed consent from patients prior to any prescribing decision and assess mental capacity in line with the Mental Capacity Act 2005
- Prescribe on the basis of independent clinical judgment; prescribing decisions are not linked to session volume, revenue targets, or product selection
- Participate in the monthly clinical audit cycle, including consultation note audits, prescribing rationale reviews, and outcome audits
- Maintain GMC revalidation and good standing throughout your engagement, and notify the clinical governance team promptly of any change to your registration status
