The European education group (TEG) has successfully entered the French market with an exciting new venture. The École Européenne du Numérique () focuses on software development training for low-skilled workers. The group already operates more than ten profitable EdTech companies in Germany. The business model has been proven many times over. We see strong traction already in the French market. Now it's your chance to prove yourself.
This venture reskills workers in France interested in taking up a career in coding and related IT fields. Software development is a hugely rewarding profession - both financially and personally - but too few people enter the field. It is our job to change that and prepare them for a career in tech.
Our founder for the French subsidiary is looking for a commercially strong co-founder (f/m/d), who can unlock more sales potential in the French market.
Aufgaben
- Scale sales and marketing in cooperation with our external marketing agency
- Find alternative distribution channels and optimize current sales & marketing approaches
- Build and retain a high-performance sales team
- Stay committed to our cash-flow philosophy and build a customer-funded business to remain free from the external pressures of fundraising
- Continue to develop the business model (e.g. new products, new sources of funding)
Qualifikation
- An academic education that helps you stand out
- At least 2-3 years of work experience in a leading sales & marketing role for a growth startup
- Proven leadership skills (hiring/firing/developing) is a plus
- Extensive sales & marketing experience in a digital environment is key
- Mega hands-on approach: you can build things and deliver results fast
- You are highly self-motivated, work independently, and have a razor-sharp focus. At the same time, you are coachable and willing to keep in alignment with shareholders
- Lifelong learning enthusiast
- Outstanding analytical, verbal and writing skills with the ability to communicate effectively with others across the organisation and industry
- Fluency in English and French is a must
