Since our founding in 2001, in the heart of Frankfurt, Germany, we’ve been pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in PC and console games. Now part of the PulluP Entertainment group, our team of around 100 talented professionals continues to shape the future of gaming.  
We’re the minds behind titles like _Lords of the Fallen_ , _The Surge_ series, and _Atlas Fallen_ , known for their rich worlds and immersive gameplay. But we believe the best games are still ahead of us, and that’s where you come in.  

To continue our success story, we are now looking for you to join our team as our new __(Senior) Character Concept Artist (f/m/x).__   

__Your Quest:__  

* Passion for creating compelling characters and creatures concepts that hit the heart of our project's visual style
* Be excited to deep dive into design in all its forms, bringing life and logic to the characters you create
* Live for the ideation and brainstorming phase - collaborating and communicating regularly with a wide range of creative disciplines
* Work closely with the Art Director and Lead Character Artist to establish visual guidelines, style documentation as well as art briefs for externals
* Have an eye for your task progression and timeline, dependencies and connected risks and be an asset to both your team and the production team
* Be an active part of a positive and constructive feedback culture, as well as welcoming artistic feedback from leads and colleagues
* Be open to taking a mentoring position, supporting the growth of junior artists within the Character department

__Your Toolkit:__  

* Excellent 2D drawing skills with a strong grasp of composition, color theory, gesture, lighting, anatomy and form
* A comprehensive portfolio showcases a variety of not only fully rendered photorealistic and stylized characters but the road to your finished concept (sketches, designs, etc.)
* 5+ years experience as a Concept Artist with a focus on character art
* At least 1 - 2 shipped AAA or AA titles as a Concept Artist (or relative experience)
* Advanced knowledge of Photoshop (or other 2D drawing software)
* Bonus: Knowledge of Zbrush (or other 3D sculpting software)
