About the Role
We are looking for a Category & Product Data Manager to join our growing team In Hove (south of Antwerp) and lead the structure, quality, and growth of our product catalog — the backbone of our e-commerce experience. You’ll own both the strategic category logic and the operational product data execution across 10,000+ SKUs today, with a clear roadmap to 10 million+ SKUs with Europe-wide coverage.
This role sits at the intersection of product & price data, automotive knowledge, customer experience, and supplier collaboration — ensuring our catalog is accurate, discoverable, enriched, and conversion-ready.

You will define our product taxonomy, manage data quality across millions of SKUs, and work with both technical and business teams to deliver an exceptional product listing experience for our customers.
This role is ideal for someone who is structured and thrives in a high-SKU, data-intensive environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and manage a logical, scalable category structure for premium car parts.
- Define and own the standard attributes and metadata across all product categories.
- Establish and enforce naming conventions and data rules.
- Act as domain expert for vehicle parts, making decisions on cross-referencing, compatibility logic, and parts grouping.
- Audit incoming supplier data for completeness, accuracy, and structure.
- Identify and resolve issues such as missing fields, duplicates, and format mismatches.
- Define validation criteria and work with engineers to enforce data standards.
- Coordinate and manage enrichment of product cards: images, compatibility (fitment), SEO titles/descriptions, OEM cross-references, etc. in collaboration with Digital Marketer
- Support content automation processes with input logic, templates, and data mappings.
- Work with UX, product, and marketing teams to ensure optimal customer experience
- Ensure the timely publishing and updating of product listings,
- Implement and enforce product data quality standards, mandatory fields, duplicatoin logic & image rules
- Define and track catalog KPI’s: listing speed, attribute coverage, enrichment completeness, and error resolution rates.
- Collaborate with the data engineering team to structure ingestion pipelines.
- Lead the implementation, adaptation and optimization of a PIM (Product Information Management) system or equivalent internal tooling
- Document and continuously improve product data processes.
- Coordinate with suppliers to improve incoming data quality and ensure alignment with catalog logic.
- Maintain feedback loops with supply partners for continuous data improvements.
- Setup and maintain an intelligent price Management system
- Stay updated on automotive parts taxonomy trends and e-commerce merchandising innovations.
Requirements
Your Profile
Skills & Experience
- 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar role (product data, merchandising, catalog, or e-commerce operations role).
- Automotive after sales (ideally car parts) product knowledge is a very strong advantage
- Experience managing structured product data at scale
- Familiarity with PIM platforms or ERP/catalog tools.
- Strong Excel/Google Sheets skills; SQL and basic API/JSON experience a plus.
- Highly organized, with excellent attention to detail and a systems mindset.
- A true believer in the ‘no-nonsense’ approach with a hands-on attitude of ‘getting things done’.
- Proactive, solution-oriented, and process-driven mindset.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Business, Data Management, Engineering, Information Science, or a related field.
