Location: Bucharest, Romania (Hybrid – 3 days/week in the office)
Contract type: CIM (Individual Employment Contract) – 6 months, with possibility of extension, or B2B collaboration
We are looking for a Mid-Level Accountant to join our team, responsible for primary accounting operations and supporting the finance department in day-to-day financial and administrative tasks.
Tasks
- Handle full-cycle primary accounting activities
- Process and register specific financial-accounting documents: invoices, receipts, tax vouchers, payment orders, pay slips, bank statements, travel and expense reports
- Perform supplier/customer reconciliations
- Support month-end closing activities and meet related deadlines
- Collaborate with internal departments (sales, management) and external accounting experts
Requirements
- Baccalaureate diploma with an economic profile, or completed higher education in Finance-Banking or Accounting
- A CECCAR diploma is not mandatory; completing a specialization course is a strong advantage for candidates without practical experience
- English – mandatory, conversational level (written and spoken)
- SAGA accounting software – must have
- Microsoft Excel – intermediate/advanced level (filters, pivot tables, basic formulas)
- Knowledge of Reges (former Revisal) or other similar payroll/records systems is a plus
- Basic understanding of financial-accounting legislation and related document processing
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy when working with numbers
- Excellent organizational skills; ability to manage high volumes of documents and meet deadlines
- Good communication and collaboration skills, both within the team and with external partners
- 2–3 years of experience in full-time primary accounting (Mid-Level)
- Experience in the personnel leasing industry is a plus
