Job Description

A little about us:
Container xChange is the leading online platform for container logistics and operations. We simplify the logistics of global trade, making the processes surrounding the container as simple as the container itself by providing a neutral infrastructure for all logistics companies.
Our team of 300+ like-minded xChangees from 65+ nationalities has made this possible! We have scaled far beyond the small start-up we once were and continue to disrupt the industry together.
The role:
As a Sales Development Representative for the ISC (Indian Sub-continent) and Middle East market, you have a direct impact on our revenue as a part of our hunter pack, identifying, qualifying, and booking high-quality demos for our Account Executives.

Requirements

Your Impact:

Identify and qualify new sales prospects

Be the first point of contact through outbound calls, emails, and networking

Set up product demos with leads and the sales team

Collaborate with our marketing team to optimize lead qualification and customer approach

Master Salesforce with our Sales Managers to track key insights throughout the sales process

What makes you the PERFECT match?

Highly motivated and driven: Achieving targets is not enough; you strive to exceed them every chance you get.

Not afraid to pursue what you want: You take the lead on your tasks and new topics, consistently delivering results.

Extroverted and socially outgoing: Your positive energy is contagious, motivating the entire team.

Competitive with an innate drive to succeed: You push yourself and those around you to reach new heights.

What else is important for the role?

Prior sales or business development experience: Ideally in B2B or SaaS or within a highly data-driven sales structure.

Exceptional communication and negotiation skills: You can effectively qualify leads and bring them onboard.

A strong desire to master container logistics and international trade: You are committed to continuous learning and improving your expertise.

Fluency in English and Hindi/Arabic is a must: Proficiency in additional languages is a plus.

Consider the following to see if you are really up for the challenge:

Can you handle the pressure of making 60+ daily cold calls and regular customer engagement?

Are you prepared for constant change and rejection?

Do you have what it takes to thrive in a highly competitive target based environment

Are you a natural problem-solver, curious and innovative?

Do you have a passion for learning about industry trends and best practices?

What to expect?
Earning potential: As a part of our sales team, you will have an attractive uncapped commission package motivating you to not only hit your targets but exceed them as a true hunter.
Ownership & impact at xChange: you'll have a direct stake in xChange with a competitive virtual equity package. You will have room to make a significant impact by taking ownership and driving us forward with your dedication and hardwork. We are partnered with the Fürstenberg Institut for personal coaching and professional development to support you along the way.
xChange culture & collaboration: our diverse and talented team operates with a growth-focused mindset which fosters an open-minded, collaborative, and high-performance driven culture where A-players thrive.
Other perks at xChange: 28 vacation days, mental healthcare & coaching program, discounted bike leasing, a subsidized Deutschlandticket, language courses and many more. Feel free to ask the Talent team for details 😊
