Investment Controller PE / Valuation

Close collaboration with investment professionals to navigate complex transactions and events across all phases of the transaction process / Further development of valuation models for portfolios of private market investments, e.g private equity, private credit, private real estate or derivative products / Prepare comprehensive valuation reports for internal and external stakeholder / Ensure that critical reporting deadlines and deliverables are met in accordance with service agreements / Supporting documentation for presentations to the Investment Committee / Responsible for the documentation of valuation-related procedures and controls / Collaboration on challenging projects related to portfolio monitoring, new investment strategies, asset acquisitions, divestitures and restructurings / Offering significant exposure to financial analysis, capital markets, and financial modeling related to alternative assets, including private credit, private equity, real estate and derivatives / Collaborate closely with external valuation partners / Provide ad hoc advisory services to senior management / Ad hoc projects.

Bachelor’s in Accounting, Finance or Business / CFA or CPA beneficial / Relevant professional experience in a Big 4 firm or an asset management company / Understanding of complex financial instruments and valuation concepts / Work experience with private market portfolios and proficient in financial modeling and valuation techniques / Interested in identifying valuation issues, conducting research, and presenting solutions / Proficient in discounted cash flow analysis, financial statement review, credit monitoring, market data analysis, etc. / Proficient in fair value measurement / Analytical personality with attention to detail and solution orientation / High motivation as well as interested in new models or procedures / Strong interpersonal skills with effective oral and written communication capabilities / German as well as English.
