Your role

• Roast our specialty coffee range, from light roast filter coffees to espressos
• Plan and organize the roast schedule
• Develop new roast profiles according to changes in green coffee and quality control feedback
• Evaluate green coffee through sample roasting
• Run quality control checks on the roasted coffee
• Keep an eye on our inventory by tracking and making sure that the coffee needed is always in stock
• Perform your work according to health, safety, and hygiene standards

• Be part of our motivated five-people roasting team

  Your profile

• Previous experience in the specialty coffee industry, at least 2-3 years as a skilled specialty coffee Barista is a must. Previous experience in specialty coffee roasting is a big plus
• Team player with a positive attitude and passion for coffee
• Solid communications skills to establish and maintain positive relationships with our external stakeholders
• Sound computer skills (comfort with spreadsheets is a must) and attention to detail
• Comfortable with manual labour: ability to move heavy green coffee bags and stay physically active throughout the day. A good level of fitness is required.
• Valid permit to work in Germany is required
• Availability to work 4 days a week, with a minimum of 24 hours and a maximum of 32 weekly hours. Our earliest shift starts at 08:00 am and the latest at 10:00 am. Our working days are Monday to Friday. You are flexible with the schedule and can switch your day off to better fit with our operational needs.
