Co-reactive is revolutionizing the construction industry by transforming CO₂ into high-performance building materials. Using our systems, we produce a sustainable cement substitute that binds CO₂ permanently and contributes to strength and long-term durability. We are currently scaling our production facilities to an industrial level — and we need you to help us do it! We’re a fast-growing, dynamic team of more than 12 employees, bringing together our technical center, production, and office at a single location in Erkrath, right near Düsseldorf.

Tasks

• Support the R&D team with ongoing R&D projects and quality control (QC) activities

• Prepare concrete and mortar mixtures and execute their characterization according to standardized tests (EN/DIN standard)

• Perform technical tests – compression & flexural strength, flowability, Vicat setting time, etc.

• Record, organize, and evaluate the routine laboratory results

• Understand the technical and scientific background of the laboratory results

• Participate in the reporting and presentation of experimental results

Requirements

• You pursue a bachelor's/master's degree in civil engineering, structural engineering, material sciences, environmental sciences, building chemistry, or a related field

• You have experience or want to learn routine cement and concrete testing at a laboratory scale

• You know the basics of cement and concrete European standards (EN/DIN)

• You want to dive deeper into cement chemistry and topics of sustainable supplementary cementitious materials

• You have a passion for structured work and proper documentation in digital formats

• You work independently and keep your workplace organized

• You are highly motivated in the development of sustainable construction materials
