Application internship - Clairfield Netherlands

Clairfield Netherlands, headquartered in Amsterdam, is an independent corporate finance boutique and part of Clairfield International. Clairfield International is a partnership of leading corporate finance firms in 25 countries around the world, advising a wide range of clients such as private equity, entrepreneurs and corporate clients, on mergers & acquisitions, capital raises and other corporate finance issues.

We are growing rapidly and are always looking to add the next talent to the team. The team consists of young, dynamic and enthusiastic professionals who have a breadth of experience with strong and relevant track records.

You will become an integral part of a dynamic team of seasoned M&A professionals and get broad exposure to origination and execution of M&A transactions across a wide range of sectors. You will particularly spend time on:

· Financial modelling and company valuation;

· Preparing pitch documents and information memoranda;

· Performing market analyses and researching industry trends.

We also offer an academy program on modelling, valuation, deal structuring and more. In addition to developing strong technical skills, we place great value on a positive and strong team culture: we often wrap up the week with drinks together, either at the office or in a cafe.

Successful interns may be offered the chance to join the team as full-time analyst.

You are in the final stages of your MSc studies or recently graduated, preferably with a background in (business) economics, finance, engineering, econometrics or related and are available for 4 to 6 months.

You have proficiency in both English and Dutch, a hands-on attitude, positive energy and proven affinity with the financial world. Moreover, you have an entrepreneurial mindset and strong numerical and communication skills.
