**Your Responsibilities**

*   Overall responsibility for the Accounting and Controlling divisions
    
*   Management and development of the General Ledger, Group Accounting, Credit Management and Controlling divisions (approx. 23 employees)
    
*   Ensuring the timely preparation of the monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements as well as the consolidated financial statements
    
*   Planning, implementation and control of budgets and forecasts, including deviation analyses
    
*   Taking over annual planning and cost accounting
    
*   Central contact for auditors, tax advisors, banks and first point of contact for the Group management
    
*   Establishing and ensuring the implementation of current accounting and tax regulations, providing active advice and support to the team leaders/teams on accounting issues
    
*   Continuous development of the Finance and Controlling teams
    

**Your Profile**

*   Completed studies in economics (ideally with a focus on accounting) or a comparable qualification
    
*   Relevant professional experience in group accounting, preferably with experience in auditing
    
*   Proficiency in the German Commercial Code (HGB) (individual and consolidated financial statements)
    
*   Leadership experience is advantageous
    
*   Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken
    
*   Hands-on mentality as well as a structured and independent way of working
    
*   High level of social competence, ability to work in a team and good communication skills for complex issues
