We are looking for a new Analyst to join our Corporate Finance team in Amsterdam.
Tasks
- Actively identifying and assessing potential target investment companies
- Conduct thorough research on selected target companies, including financial (modelling), strategic, and competitor analysis
- Analysis, preparation and drafting presentations of company profiles, market and sector reports, information memorandums and transaction documentation (for sell- and buy-side purposes)
- Collaborate with senior team members in marketing and origination activities
- Assist in preparing historical and projected financial statements
- Analysis of financial implications of mergers and acquisitions
- Conduct valuation analysis
Requirements
- An effective team player and highly motivated self-starter with strong communication skills, tenacity and market research skills
- Excellent Dutch & English language skills (written & spoken)
- Outstanding interpersonal, presentational, adaptability and time management skills
- Strong academics, with a completed university degree in fields such as Economics, Finance, Accounting, Business or a science study with financial affinity
- Previous experience with exposure to transactions from within Corporate Finance, Transaction Services, Consulting or Private Equity. Operational/in-house experience will also be considered
- Strong knowledge of finance and accounting
- Highly proficient Excel and PowerPoint skills
