Founded in 2020, Bosque Foods is the first European fungi-based meat alternative company focusing entirely on the whole-cut meat segment. After graduating from the world’s leading biotech accelerator program, IndieBio in New York City, we have now opened our lab in Berlin, Germany.

## Tasks

We currently have an opening for an internship to assist the R&D Team in novel fungal biotechnology and food science benchtop experiments.

_Roles & Responsibilities_

*   Assist the R&D team in executing novel experimental ideas based on fungal fermentation.
*   Perform analytical measurements to support scientific research and development.
*   Bring new ideas to the table for process and product development, execution, and optimisation.
*   Maintain lab and benchtop equipment.

## Requirements

*   Currently enrolled in or recent graduate from a Bachelor's or Master's program (preferably Food Biotechnology or Food Chemistry).
*   Looking for a compulsory internship as part of your studies.
*   Proactive, reliable and detail-oriented.
*   Some experience working in a biotechnology lab.
*   Experience working in sterile environments.
*   Ideally able to start as soon as possible.
*   Interest in fermentation and/or fungi is a plus.
*   English language proficiency, both written and spoken. Fluent German is a plus.
