We are seeking a highly skilled Virtual Assistant with strong communication abilities and hands-on experience in Medical Billing, Patient Scheduling, Insurance Verification, and managing inbound/outbound calls for physicians. This hybrid position is ideal for someone who is reliable, detail-oriented, and experienced in supporting US-based medical practices.

Tasks

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle medical billing tasks and maintain accurate patient records
  • Manage patient scheduling, appointment confirmations, and follow-up calls
  • Perform Verification of Benefits (VOB) with accuracy
  • Obtain patient authorizations from insurance providers as required
  • Manage doctors’ inbound and outbound calls professionally
  • Address patient inquiries with exceptional communication
  • Utilize EMR and practice management systems effectively mainly Dr.Chrono, AdvancedMD and eClinicalWorks.

Requirements

Job Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role (US healthcare preferred)
  • Strong understanding of medical billing procedures and terminology
  • Proficiency in patient scheduling and insurance verification
  • Excellent spoken and written English communication
  • Experience with EMR and medical office software such as DrChrono, AdvancedMD, and eClinicalWorks
