b2venture is one of Europe’s most experienced venture capital firms. Through our Direct Investments team, we invest alongside selected members of our community of entrepreneurs, executives and business angels in promising technology companies across stages.

We are looking for an Investment Analyst to support our team across investment analysis, investor engagement and transaction execution.

• Team: b2venture Direct Investments Team

• Start date: as soon as possible

• Workplace: Berlin or Munich

Your role

• Source and screen new investment opportunities

• Research markets, technologies and business models

• Prepare company analyses and investment materials and support due diligence

• Build relationships with the members of b2venture’s angel investor community, understand their investment preferences, and communicate potential investment opportunities

• Prepare investor conversations and maintain reliable company and investor data

• Identify suitable matches between investment opportunities and our investor community

• Support investor outreach and track interest, questions and commitments

• Support syndication, closing and portfolio monitoring

• Represent b2venture at selected founder, investor and technology events

You will initially own clearly defined workstreams and gradually take on broader responsibilities as your capabilities develop.

Your profile

• Excellent academic track record

• Initial relevant experience through internships or up to two years of professional experience

• Strong analytical skills and genuine curiosity for technology and entrepreneurship

• Independent thinking, attention to detail and a willingness to learn

• Strong communication skills and enjoyment of working with founders and investors

• Fluency in English and German

Experience with financial modelling, data analysis, coding, automation or AI tools is helpful but not required.

We do not expect you to have led transactions or built an extensive investor network. We are looking for initiative, sound judgement and the potential to grow.
