02_Junior Aerospace Engineer BCN

Aviation Island is a consultancy firm in the aviation business.

We are mainly focused in aviation maintenance, CAMO management, aircraft
redeliveries and engineering services in general that can be provided to aviation companies or other customers in the field.

The selected candidate will perform his duties at the Technical
Records department, within a team of engineers and technical personnel
and reporting directly to the Office Manager. The main responsibilities
will consist of:

• Reception, revision, and closing in the system (AMOS software) all the maintenance jobs performed by the MRO.
• Manage and process base maintenance checks and perform records review to
  ensure that the proper standards and company policies are met.
• Revise and close all major checks received in digital, as well as update the
  system with relevant info (component changes, SBs..)
• Claim and follow up on discrepancies generated over the process (documental discrepancies or missing documents)
• Give support and feedback to other departments, such as CAMO, Engineering..
• Attend when available, Phase in or Phase out projects, collaborating and helping when required.

Aerospace Engineer degree is a MUST.

• Fluent in English.
• Self disciplined and methodical person.
• Prior experience in the area is NOT REQUIRED but will be taken into account.
• EU Residence and permit to work before applying

Valuable Experience:

• Experience in aviation and aviation maintenance in general.
• Experience working within a CAMO and specifically Technical Records department.
• Good skills with AMOS software.
• Good skills with Excel as well as computer literacy.
• Driving license and owner of a vehicle.
• Live in Barcelona or nearby.
• Availability for travel
